BlackCurrant Tango – TV

Not only did this commercial win a D&AD silver and a Cannes Gold among other glittering prizes, it was voted best long commercial (1950-2000) by FilmFour and is even studied at university level. The ad made news for being three times longer than most soft drinks ads and only appearing six times, once a week in TFI Friday. After two or three showings, the ad’s protagonist Ray Gardner became a fixture on the show itself, making a great PR story.
