Watford College

6 intense months of having the ego knocked out of me while learning that less is often more.

I won Cannes gold, D&AD silver (and more) for Blackcurrant Tango ‘St George’. ‘St George’ also won the UK best long commercial (1950-2000). I also worked for one of the UK’s leading holiday companies, Thompson, now Tui.

After I left HHCL, I set off on a 6 week 5000 mile journey of discovery across the USA in a tatty three wheeled 1969 Reliant Regal.

This was a start-up. We won a couple of pieces of Unilever business as well as the UK Domino’s Pizza account before realising that running our own company was no fun.

At Heresy I worked mainly on Madame Tussauds and the budget hotel chain, Premier Inn, creating TV and print campaigns which I illustrated myself.

Calling Brands

This was a brand consultancy where I was the in-house advertising creative. Here I worked on Jumeirah hotels and the campaign I created won gold at the World Luxury Awards in 2008

Here I was Associate Creative Director working on Xperia and the relaunch of Network Rail’s West Coast Main Line railway.

I was Creative Director on the budget airline, easyJet, as well as working on Saga Holidays.

This was a small start-up where I was Creative Director, working on Suzuki, ECHO power tools, Sylvanian Families and the hotel booking site, Trivago.

JWT London

Here I was Creative Director on HSBC, OXO, Ribena, Legal & General and Shell Aviation. I was also the agency’s liaison with Facebook.

McGarryBowen, VMLY&R, Cheil, Iris, DCX, McCann, Publicis. I worked on Suzuki, Delta Airlines, KP Snacks, Trident gum, Dacia, Acer laptops, Mastercard and Coke.
